GENERAL INFORMATION

This year, 2012, Microsoft Research is hosting the TRANFORM project at the MSR PhD Summer School 2012. Having ESR of TransForm attending the school is part of the training activities of the project. During the school, a series of general talks will be given, some of which will address Transactional Memory topics.

There will be transports arranged by the organizer from Selwyn College (which is official accommodation during the event) to Microsoft Research.


ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation will be provided at Selwyn College from Monday 2 July until the morning of Saturday 7 July 2012. If you wish to stay longer in Cambridge, and the college has availability, then we may be able to arrange this for you, please inform us of the extended dates upon registration. Any additional nights, whether at the college or not, will be at your own expense.

By plane:
Stansted Airport:

By train:
From London King’s Cross Station:
There is a train in every half an hour. Trains take around 1 hour to reach Cambridge.

From London Liverpool Street:
Trains run every hour from this station. It takes 75 minutes to reach Cambridge.
